CICA Art Festival 2023
CICA Museum invites artists and designers worldwide to participate in “CICA Art Festival 2023.” The event was organized to provide the public with more opportunities to purchase artworks and crafts directly from artists and designers. The space around 2 x 2 x 3 m (w x l x h) will be assigned to each artist, and the artist can freely install works in the assigned space. The selected artist will be required to pay the registration fee to confirm his/her participation. We charge no commission if the work is sold. During the festival, there will be outdoor events and performance for general guests.

*Space Assignment:
We will send an email to selected artists. Once their participations is confirmed, we will send out the space assignment guidelines. There may be some slight difference in sizes of each space depending on rooms. Each section of the artist will be divided by taped lines. The artist who register earlier will have priority in space assignment.
*Installation of Artworks & Crafts
The artist will freely install his/her works in the assigned space, and will need to bring his/her tools, tables, and/or partitions if needed. The artist is responsible for the shipment and delivery of his/her physical work to and from CICA Museum, as well as all related expenses. We will send out the detailed installation guidelines to the participating artists.
*Selling of Works:
The artist or his/her assistant will be present at the exhibition and sell his/her works directly to buyers. We charge no commission if the work is sold. The artist will be responsible for the tax report if s/he make a profit.
If the work is selected, the artist will be required to pay the registration fee: $90 (USD).

2023 – Art That Tells Stories (Storytellers)
Las Laguna Gallery is seeking submissions from artists creating works of art that tells stories.
The works can be open ended; thus, allowing the viewer to draw their own conclusions or the works can be designed to tell a story. Artworks submitted can relay apparent Anecdotes, Narratives, Plotlines or Parables.
Note: All artists who submit to this show will be accepted and have at least one of their submitted works posted and promoted on our website and to our client list. A select number of artists will be chosen to send their work to the gallery for the in-person exhibition at our brick-and-mortar gallery in Laguna Beach, California.

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager II, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) for the California Arts Council’s State Mandated Programs independently performs the more complex and technical analytical work such as developing arts grant program guidelines, data research, summary reports, and internal process documents.
