The San Diego Watercolor Society announces its Call for Entries for the 42nd International Exhibition to be held in San Diego during October, 2022. The exhibition is open to all water-based media artists. On-line entries only. Juror is award-winning artist Linda Daly Baker, AWS, TWSA. Open Call for Art – 6x6x2022
In 2022 we’re hoping to exhibit even more amazing artworks from all around the world. Each summer Rochester Contemporary Art Center’s (RoCo) 6×6 exhibition brings together thousands of original artworks, made and donated by celebrities, international & local artists, designers, youth and YOU. Each artist may enter up to four artworks of any medium (2D or 3D). Artworks must be six inches square and signed only on the back, to be exhibited anonymously. Participation is free. All artworks will be exhibited and for sale to the public for $20 each to benefit RoCo. Artists’ names will be revealed to the buyer upon purchase and all artworks remain on display through the end of the exhibition. Limit four artworks per school or school group (no limit for colleges). Please be sure each artwork is accompanied by 1 entry for for each artwork. Entry forms can be printed from roco6x6.org.
Rochester Contemporary Art Center (RoCo) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) founded in 1977. The funds raised through 6×6 enable us to continue providing unique encounters for audiences and extraordinary opportunities for artists including exhibitions, public art, and other programs.

Malamegi Lab Art Prize, is a call for submissions open to all kind of artists. Works allowed in the art competition are: drawings, paintings, sculptures, photographs, graphics, mix media and video. ARTWORK ACQUISITION AWARD
Malamegi Lab will acquire one among 12 final artworks. This artwork will become part of the Malamegi Lab’s private collection. The award has a maximum purchase value of € 2000,00. Artworks not for sale or with a price higher than the acquisition prize will not participate in this prize. These artworks will still be able to win one of the other prizes.
COLLABORATION AGREEMENT
Malamegi is raffling the creation of a new collection of works by the selection of one artist among the 12 finalists of the contest. The collaboration will enable the artist to develop an entire collection of his works that will be advertised and presented to all buyers of the commercial network.
CASH PRIZE
At the end of the collective exhibition, to an artist among the 12 selected will be awarded a cash prize of € 1000,00. The award will be given based on the quality and originality of the work on display. The winning work will remain property of the artist. The prize is a contribution to the development of art and artist’s aesthetic research.
MONOGRAPHIC CATALOGUE
A monographic book will be dedicated to one of the finalists. The monography will be curated by Malamegi Lab with the support of final exhibition’s curators. The book will be edited, developed, printed and distributed at Malamegi Lab expenses. Apart the copies in distribution, another ones will be added for the artist’s personal use. The monograph will be printed in about 100 copies, of which 20 will be left to the artist. The distribution of monographs will be curated by Malamegi on behalf of its best customers and collectors.

How will humanity respond to the many challenges of climate change? Will we learn to thrive via systemic change, innovation, and adaptation? Will we succeed in creating a better world in spite of the challenges we will face?
Youth Action Through Art, in partnership with Art Works For Change, invites young artists (age 22 or younger) to submit original artwork for “The Future We Create,” a crowd-sourced exhibition of artworks that reflect upon our future in the age of climate change.

Contemporary Art Gallery Online Announces an International Call for Artists to Participate in the 8th Annual 2022 “ALL Women Artist” Competition & Exhibition.
Online Art Competition to be open for entries from January 31st,2022 to February 27th, 2022. Contemporary Art Gallery Online encourages entries from all 2D and 3D artists regardless of their experience or education in the art field. An exhibition of all entrants will be held online from March 2nd,2022 to March 29th, 2022. There is No Theme for this Competition, except you must be a woman to enter. Artists should submit their best representational and non-representational art. This competition will be judged on Painting & Drawing Art, Photography & Digital Art, Mixed Media & 3 Dimensional Art. Awards will be given for the top 5 to 8 works selected, (this will depend on the number of submissions). Winners will be announced on February 14th, 2022.
