Position Purpose
The Annual Giving Manager works collaboratively with the Individual Giving team and is responsible for driving strategy and providing an exceptional donor experience for Friends-level donors ($125-$2,499). This position is accountable for meeting budgeted goals and focuses on strategically expanding the Friends-level membership program, with an emphasis on growing contributed revenue and strengthening the donor pipeline. The Annual Giving Manager also helps foster an organizational culture of stewardship and gratitude by managing donor benefit fulfillment for all giving levels, processing individual and institutional acknowledgment letters, and maintaining donor recognition listings.

Accountability for Friends’ annual fundraising goals (currently set at $470,000, strategies and metrics, participating in ongoing and regular assessment of progress toward these goals.
Soliciting individual gifts ranging from $125 to $2,499 and completing the necessary follow-up to advance the conversation and secure support to meet revenue goals.
Sharing prompt and meaningful gratitude with individual donors in assigned portfolio.
In collaboration with the Deputy Director of Development and Associate Director of Individual Giving, developing and implementing a calendarized annual plan for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for the Friends level ($125-$2,499) donor segment, balancing broad-based and individual outreach, including identifying and implementing new approaches for engaging and recognizing this donor segment.
Working with the Deputy Director of Development and Associate Director of Individual Giving to plan and execute solicitations, stewardship, cultivation, and other communications to Friends level donors.
Project managing the execution of annual fund campaigns, solicitation mailings, and stewardship and cultivation pieces, including working with the mail house to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality collateral is prepared and delivered.
Managing annual benefit fulfillment, ensuring donors receive accurate benefits in a timely fashion, including coordinating cross-departmentally and arranging signed posters, scripts, and other tangible deliverables.
Maintaining membership management in Tessitura to ensure donors are credited and recognized at their respective giving levels.
Preparing and executing in-house mailings, including but not limited to, pledge invoices, annual tax statements, season greeting cards, and Trustee birthday cards.
Assuming responsibility for donor recognition listings, ensuring accurate listings in all materials and publications.
Preparing and sending bi-weekly gift acknowledgment letters for individual and institutional supporters, ensuring donors and funders are prompted thanked in a timely fashion.
Assisting the Director of Development and Deputy Director of Development with occasional administrative support, including taking meeting minutes at quarterly Development Committee meetings.
Representing A.C.T. at donor events, while assisting with some special event activities and interacting with donors.

Position Purpose
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Development, the Development Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing strategic and accurate use of A.C.T.’s database to support all patron-centric fundraising activities. This position is charged with managing and implementing systems and tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of A.C.T’s fundraising efforts and will work closely with departmental leadership, IT, Finance, and the entire development team. This position serves as Development’s Tessitura “power user” and is responsible for maintaining all financial information for the department, including the tracking and processing of contributed income, monitoring expense budgets, and reconciling with Finance. This position requires a highly organized critical thinker who values attention to detail and has the ability to prioritize responsibilities and safeguard confidential information in a fast-paced work environment.

Essential Functions
Works in collaboration with Finance and IT to maintain the department’s financial database structure, including Tessitura’s fundraising general ledger system.
Responsible for all gift entry into Tessitura CRM, maintaining proper pledge and gift documentation, and following standard operating procedures for financial accounting of checks, EFTs, matching gifts, and stock transactions.
Responsible for monitoring and reconciling outstanding pledges, including leading a quarterly Pledge Receivables meeting.
Works with Development leadership to create and adhere to annual and project budgets. Analyzes financial data, including reviewing and reconciling departmental expenses, and collaborates with key Development staff to provide quarterly expense and revenue income projections.
Serves as the Development department’s point person during the annual audit, including preparing all departmental documentation.
Generates and supports data collection for institutional proposals and reporting, including liaisoning with other departments to collect and package up-to-date budgets and financial information for grant reports and application.
Responsible for daily maintenance and upkeep of Development’s Tessitura functionality, including the maintenance of plans, constituent records, program listing information, and other information, as needed.
Serves as lead staff member for Tessitura application needs and requests, including staff training, report queries, campaign and appeal management, and database policy maintenance and creation.
Supports fundraising efforts by generating simple queries for patron giving summaries, campaign analysis, projections, and departmental reporting.
Generates mail, email, telefunding and other segmented list pulls for the Development department. Works in collaboration with the Data Systems Analyst to produce segmented mailing and lead lists and tracks response rates and donation revenue.
Works with the Annual Fund Manager to ensure accurate donor recognition on all materials and proper donor benefit fulfillment.
Engages in customer service with donors, including providing support at A.C.T. donor events.
Qualifications

Institutional Giving Associate
POSITION SUMMARY
The Institutional Giving Associate is a member of the grants team, working to support fundraising from foundations, government agencies, and corporations. This role will be responsible for managing reporting for grants as well as writing grant proposals, communicating with Foundation and Corporate grant officers, and directly soliciting gifts less than $25,000. The individual in this role will be a strong writer with good attention to detail, and will be excited to work cross-departmentally to garner the necessary information for grant reports and proposals. General prospect research and Development Department support may also be required.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Institutional Giving
● Provide support for identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of grants from foundations, government agencies, and corporate entities.
● Write and directly solicit grants of $25,000 and less.
● Manage a portfolio of 15-20 Foundation and Corporate Donors
● Write reports for institutional donors.
● Support the Associate Director, Institutional Giving and the Corporate Partnerships Manager in gathering information from Museum staff across the institution for grant requests and reports.
● Work with other colleagues to ensure that foundation and government donors are apprised of Museum activities and invited to cultivation and stewardship opportunities.
● Maintain updated records for institutional donors in Raiser’s Edge database.

Membership Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY
The Membership Coordinator provides support for OMCA’s membership program, part of the Development and Advancement department. In addition to providing administrative support for all membership activities, this position is also a key strategy partner for the Associate Director of Membership and the Individual Giving team. The Membership Coordinator responds to member inquiries, coordinates membership activities and communications, mails renewal requests and fulfillment packages, and helps to maintain the membership database. The person in this role acts as a primary liaison to many of the Museum’s members, providing excellent customer service and proactive problem solving.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Member Relations and Communications
● Responsible for creation of email and direct mail renewal campaigns and special appeals for member acquisition, including compiling data, segmenting appeals, and coordinating with mail house
● Plan, develop, and execute the quarterly direct mail Member Calendar
● Encourage membership renewals and keep members up-to-date on program benefits
● Implement communications tactics that steward relationships with members and support OMCA’s membership retention strategy and fundraising plan (e.g. create surveys, written communication, etc.)
● Primary point of contact for phone calls and emails. Field and make phone calls from and to members and general callers to answer questions, fulfill requests, or forward them to the correct contact as needed
● Demonstrate enthusiasm for evolving OMCA’s fundraising practices to align with the Museum’s work to become a more anti-racist institution and support OMCA’s values around diversity, equity, and inclusion.
● Acts as liaison with visitor service staff on membership sales, reporting, selling strategies, and program updates
● Collaborate closely with Marketing on the reviewing, editing and delivery of Member email communications
Membership/Development Support
● Coordinate on-site logistics of Membership programs and events including exhibition previews, and other special events

Call for Art: Two-Dimensional Temporary Public Art Installations in Rochester, NY
Rochester Contemporary Art Center (RoCo) invites artists to propose three images for a temporary public art installation at our main facility. Through this call for art we aim to offer a simple submission process for incisive, surprising, and unique imagery that will enliven the East Avenue neighborhood. Of particular interest are projects that connect visitors to the location, community and/or history of the neighborhood, challenge visitors and passersby, and address important social and political issues. RoCo welcomes visual artists of all genres. RoCo also invites visual artists to collaborate with literary artists as we have previously shown in this location.
The completed series of three images will be exhibited to the public 24/7 for 4-6 months. The duration will be determined with RoCo staff based on the seasons and circumstances. Artist will receive a stipend for the use of their preexisting images. All production and installation costs are covered by RoCo. The deadline for submissions is October 15, 2022 at 5pm EST.
Proposals that utilize the frames in addition to sculptural installations are also encouraged. (See separate RFP on our website)
