Grey Cube Gallery presents the second Yellow online art contest for the month of November 2022. Artists from around the world are welcome to submit. The theme may include any work with depiction of the color “Yellow” or shades of Yellow (beige, lemon yellow, canary yellow, golden yellow). All visual art mediums (except video and sound) are allowed. All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate. Contemporary Art Room Gallery is proud to announce their 2nd “Still Life” Online Art Competition for the month of November. Artists from around the world are welcome to submit their work. The theme of this competition requires that artists incorporate either natural objects, such as foods, flowers, plants, rocks, shells, or man-made objects, such as books, vases, jewelry, coins, pipes, etc. We will not consider still-life paintings depicting dead animals or human skulls. All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage or installation art) except sound and video art. First place will be on the poster of the show. All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate. $15 for 2 images, $28 for 4, and $40 for up to 6 images. Deadline: November 10, 2022.
Autumn Vibes Art Competition
UPWARD Gallery invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to our online competition and exhibit, Autumn Vibes.
Autumn — the season, maybe, mostly affecting the emotions of the artist. For some, autumn is a quiet sadness, withering, a harbinger of future death, and for other artists, the theme of autumn is an opportunity to use all possible natural colors in your work.
What does autumn mean for your creativity?
Acceptable mediums include all traditional art media (e.g., oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, mixed media, gouache, egg tempera, pen and ink; drawing media such as graphite, charcoal, colored pencils, scratch board, markers, metal point), digital painting, arts and crafts (beadwork, pottery, embroidery, floristry, batik, stained glass, two-dimensional collage and fabric art as well, etc.).
All accepted pieces will be displayed in our online gallery at upwardgallery.com.
Each participant of the competition receives his personal page on the UPWARD gallery. This page displays works that the artist submitted for participation in competitions, short biography text and artist statement, links to the artist’s website, as well as links to social media accounts, interview with the artist.
All entrants will receive electronic certificates based on the results of the competition.
The winners (1st place) are interviewed by the UPWARD Gallery editors for publication on the site.

NEW WORK – FOCUS ON LOS ANGELES – $1500 project grant
Prospect Art is seeking Los Angeles-based visual artists for the New Work series. We are looking for existing or new work by professional artists not currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. Priority is given to artists not represented by a commercial gallery in Los Angeles. We are looking to feature artists/or collectives currently living in Los Angeles who don’t have an outlet for their work. The city has a large population of visual artists and a lack of not-for-profit support for process-based works. We will provide ONE ARTIST or ONE COLLECTIVE with the financial backing to finish a not previously exhibited work. Artists that make it to the final review round will qualify for studio visits with Prospect Art founders and will be featured on the website as finalists. We are looking for Los Angeles-based artists with established studio practices who have lived in the city for at least 5 years. Projects that are usually not well represented in commercial galleries will be prioritized.
Please prepare the following:
- Contact information (including telephone number), Name, Email, Social media handles, website
- If a collective is applying, provide collective name and a contact person
- Description of the work you are seeking funds for (500 words or less)
- Images of work and/or sketches (3-5 images, 10mb max size)

Major Duties
Under the direction of the General Manager, the Campus Engagement Associate independently develops programs in order to engage the campus community with The Soraya and its programs. The incumbent engages the CSUN campus population, the local community, and its student body in The Soraya’s programing, including working with Soraya and campus marketing teams to promote all performances to campus community and organizing student groups for ticket giveaways, and artist meet-and-greets, especially for student affinity groups, both academic and non-academic alike.
• Organizes students in special activities surrounding The Soraya’s presenting season, including pre-performance activities, festivals, master classes, and similar.
• Works to engage faculty and staff by building relationships across the campus in order to integrate The Soraya’s programs into faculty syllabi.
• Works with USU and Associated Students to engage student groups in renting various venues overseen by The Soraya (Plaza del Sol, Terrace, etc.). Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Under the direction of The Soraya’s Director of Marketing and Engagement, the Creative Content Manager leads The Soraya’s Marketing Department’s project management, ensuring the strategy dictated by the Director is effectively implemented from creative design through procurement and final deliverables. Qualifications
