The City of San Diego (City) is seeking applications from interested qualified artists to provide public art services for the Fire Station 48 Black Mountain Ranch Public Art Project. An artist or artist team is sought to design, fabricate and transport permanent, site-specific artwork for the new fire station and consult during installation of artwork at the site by the City.

All media is welcome, including: painting, drawing, digital painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, textiles, mixed media, etc.
Awards: Interview and other publications in our print edition of UPWARD’s magazine and on the website, digital certificate, personal artist page on the gallery website. The exhibition will be promoted online on the our website and social media channels such as Instagram. All artists retain 100% of sales with inquiries directed to them.

Moku Art Studio proudly presents the 2nd annual exhibition Under the Sea. This exhibition showcases artists who are passionate about the ocean and its future. If you are an artist who is concerned and in love with our oceans, their ecosystems, and the magical beauty that exists underneath the waves, then we invite you to apply.
We are proud to announce that our Under the Sea exhibition has been endorsed as a UN Ocean Decade activity. This means that our virtual exhibition will be shared on the Ocean Decade Network, allowing the wonderful work created by the artists to reach a wider audience.
