Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 3rd Annual “5 Dollars, 5 Entries, 5 Winners” Summer Special Online art Competition.
The gallery invites all 2D and 3D artists, age 18+ (including photographers & digital artists) from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion in the Gallery’s “5 Dollar, 5 Entries, 5 Winners” Summer Special online group art exhibition. Artists can enter up to 5 entries, for $5.00 and the gallery will choose 5 overall winning artists from those who entered. An online exhibition will be held on the Light Space & Time website from July 5th through September 5th.
Light Space & Time encourages artists regardless of where they reside and regardless of their experience or education in the art field to send the gallery their best representational or abstract art. This is an “Open” (No Theme) art online competition.

The gallery invites online submission of all 2D and 3D art (including photography) from artists around the world for possible selection for one the Gallery’s monthly solo art exhibitions or into the gallery’s Artist Showcase.
The gallery encourages artists regardless of where they reside to submit their best abstract and/or representational art to this competition. There is No Theme for this Art Competition.

Mix-media, contemporary painting, digital art, and sculpture to photography and video.
Must have a website (Please also provide an Instagram handle if you have one, not required.)
Submit a short story about your work (day/night job) and art, how your job and your art interact, influence, and balance one another. In other words, tell us about your hustle as a working artist: How do you make it all happen, and what drives you? Additionally, if you lost your job during Covid-19 please let us know how that affected your art.
Every 3 weeks, the ‘Think Outside the Walls’ series will feature one working artist.
All chosen applicants should be willing to speak in front of a camera. Aside from your story being featured and promoted on the website and social media, the project’s end goal is to be translated into a documentary feature.
All submissions will be judged based on the applicant’s creativity, functionality, and originality.
This online story exhibition is open to all local, national and international artists.
Submission Deadline: Ongoing deadlines, duration of the project is from February 14 – December 31, 2021

ENTRY FEE
$20 for first entry/$5 for each additional entry, you may enter up to 6 total. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance.
ELIGIBILITY
This call is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional. Open to all genres of filmmaking, there is no specific theme. Must be in English or with accompanying subtitles and not to exceed 15 minutes in length. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible.
NOTIFICATION
Notification will be done by email. If for any reason you do not receive your notification by the notification date, please check the filters in your email account.
FORMATTING
Media must be in MOV, MP4, WMV, 3GP, AVI, ASF, MPG, M2T, MKV, or M2TS format using Café guidelines. The resolution minimum 640 x 480, maximum resolution 1920 x 1080. Aspect ratio 4:3 or 16:9. The maximum file size is 100mb.

In this exhibition, BLUE is the HUE! So many intriguing shades of blue to work with including cyan, cobalt, cerulean, azure, navy, Prussian, indigo, periwinkle, royal, sapphire, steel, slate, sky or baby blue. Which ones inspire or challenge you? For this exhibit, the color BLUE should figure prominently in your work. Sculptural and 3D pieces are welcome.
Contemporary, expressionistic, abstract, exploratory, and/or experimental entries encouraged.
