The Center’s Marketing and Communications interns work within the marketing and communications department to promote activities at the Center through a variety of integrated campaigns and activities, including online advertising, direct marketing, public relations, and email communications. · Work closely with the Institutional Giving team to plan and execute four sponsorship fulfillment events.
· Support the Institutional Giving team in the creation of impact reports for corporate and foundation donors.

· Ensure proper recognition of all foundation and corporate donors in program and on associated programs/shows.
· Update the Center’s database (Tessitura) with relevant notes for all corporate and foundation donors and prospects. Ensure the accuracy of all institutional records.

· Prepare gift entry forms for corporate and foundation donations and maintain corporate and foundation files.

About the Internship
We are seeking an enthusiastic college student or recent grad interested in learning about arts administration and arts education by working on Segerstrom Center’s two exciting summer camp programs. The internship runs from June 10-August 7, 2024.
Five Days of Broadway is a five day long intensive that introduces middle and high school students to musical theater technique and other aspects of the performing arts taught by some of the industry’s leading professional artists and educators. The program includes two, five-day sessions – one for junior high students and one for high school students.
Entering its 33rd year, Summer at the Center has been designed to empower high-risk high school students through active participation in a rigorous two-week program of musical theater classes conducted by professional artists. Summer at the Center is a collaboration between Segerstrom Center for the Arts’ Education Department and the Orange County Department of Education.
