Contemporary Art Room Gallery is proud to announce their 4th “Abstract” Online Art Competition for the month of April. This is an international competition and artists from around the world are welcome to submit their work. For the Abstract theme in this competition we call artists to submit their best nonrepresentational artworks in all kinds of concepts and mediums. All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage or installation art) except sound and video art. All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate. First, second and third place will be largely displayed with an article about the artist and their work. Winning artwork (First place) will be on the poster of the show. $15 for 2 images of artwork. Deadline: April 1, 2021.

This newly created position reflects this evolution. The Manager of Finance & Administration will work closely with the Executive Director to develop and implement short- and long-term strategic plans and initiatives to support growth over the next five to ten years. The successful candidate will continue to build effective financial and administrative systems including accounting, facility, information technologies, human resources, and daily operational functions. Working closely with a small staff, she/he/they may oversee volunteers and be a liaison to Board members and donors. The ideal candidate will have proven non-profit financial and administrative experience, and an interest in the arts and serving rural Marin County communities. Animals Art Contest
Grey Cube Gallery proudly presents the second Animals online art contest for the month of March. Open to all artists worldwide over 18 years of age. We invite artists and photographers to submit their best artworks related to the world of animals. A variety of interpretations can be submitted (representative, abstract, conceptional). All visual art mediums (except video and sound) are allowed. The Best of Show winning artwork will be displayed as the poster of the show. Executive Director
The Phoenix Chorale seeks an individual with a passion for the arts with vision and commitment to bring the Chorale to new and lasting vitality to serve as its new Executive Director. The Executive Director will work alongside the Artistic Director to drive the mission of the organization and to help further the artistic vision and goals of the Artistic Director. The Executive Director is responsible for the management of all development and administrative functions related to the daily operations of the Phoenix Chorale and reports directly to the Board of Directors. The Chorale seeks a proven, visionary leader with financial acumen, who is growth oriented and a strong relationship builder to strategically build the contributed and earned revenues. This is a full-time position. Salary range: $60,000 to 80,000 DOE.
The ideal candidate should have:
+ A passion for non-profit management
+ A minimum of a BA or BS in management or a related field and/or experience in the arts and working in a collaborative environment. Preference may be given to those candidates with an MA or MBA, but is not required.
+ Proven results in sales, fundraising and marketing.
+ Experience in a management or development position, preferably with a non-profit arts organization.
+ An interest in the arts and arts advocacy.
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Production Manager
A Noise Within seeks an experienced Production Manager to oversee the Production Department for all ANW productions. The Production Manager is responsible for supervising all aspects of production including hiring and supervising all production personnel and some artistic personnel in concert with the Producing Artistic Directors, working with directors and designers to ensure top-quality productions, and creating and maintaining production budgets. ANW operates with an annual budget (in normal times) of $3.6 million and produces a 7-show main stage season in addition to collaborating with partner organizations for residencies and performances (Noise Now), periodic stage readings, fundraising events, and educational programs. As with all staff, the Production Manager will also have a role in implementing and contributing to ANW’s Strategic Plan and Anti-Racism Action Plan.
Right now: like all theaters, COVID closed ANW in March 2020. We are in the process of recording AEA-compliant productions on our stage, which will involve our new PM (in collaboration with our outgoing PM). We are planning the 21-22 season expecting an ability to produce for a live audience by the late Fall. The PM will be involved with a team of staff members in planning for the health and safety of our artists, crews, and audiences.
A successful candidate will have:
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a production manager or member of a production department
· Broad understanding of all aspects of technical theatre
· Experience creating and managing budgets
· Experience overseeing production calendars and schedules
· Excellent computer skills and proficiency with industry software such as CAD programs and QLab
· Experience reading ground plans, light plots, and other theatrical specifications
· Excellent communication skills straddling art and administration
· The ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects successfully and work effectively with artists, production teams, volunteers, and staff
Working conditions and physical demands:
· Ability to lift 35 lbs
· Ability to climb ladders
· Ability to see in low-light conditions (such as a dark theater)
· Availability for night and weekend hours
· Ability to drive and a valid driver’s license
RESPONSIBILITES
· Develop season schedule for all main stage productions and additional programming in collaboration with Managing Director and Producing Artistic Directors
· Develop and supervise production budgets
· Work with directors and design teams to ensure timely completion of all designs
· Supervise production personnel including designers, electricians, carpenters, stage managers, wardrobe, running crews, etc.
· Oversee inventory and maintenance of all lighting, shop, costume, and sound equipment
· Support productions with research on needs including video and projections, special effects, sourcing and researching materials and techniques, etc.
· Establish and maintain a safe work environment at all times
