The Corporate Partnership Manager is responsible for overseeing the Museum’s corporate fundraising program. This position manages the corporate membership program, secures corporate support for OMCA’s groundbreaking exhibitions, education, and public programs, and secures corporate sponsorship for select OMCA fundraising events. This position will manage the portfolio of 30 active corporate relationships and have many opportunities to grow the corporate philanthropy program at OMCA.

Sanchez Art Center (SAC) seeks California artists (18 and older) for its 14th annual 50|50 Show, which takes place September 9 – October 9, 2022. To apply, determine your theme and shape it in 10 words or less. Submit your theme plus up to 15 artwork images in your selected medium(s), via CaFÉ™ (https://www.callforentry.org/). Accepted artists will create 50 small works (6” x 6”) over the course of 50 days. Creation of works by participating artists will begin Monday, June 27 and end Monday, Aug 15, 2022.

JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE:
The Marketing and Communications Director develops and implements marketing plans to articulate Aurora’s compelling vision, reach new audiences, and maximize attendance, visibility, and income from productions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work with leadership, staff, and board of directors to clarify and articulate Aurora’s current and aspirational identity
- Develop strategies to reach audiences reflective of the diversity of the Bay Area
- Use data, current trends in marketing, communications, and the arts to develop annual marketing plans
- Provide leadership for marketing staff (currently .5 FTE Marketing Associate and .25 Graphic Designer)
- Grow and maintain relationships with press outlets; able to pitch features, solicit interviews, and secure press for performance reviews
- Work with the Artistic staff to write and distribute press releases
- Help to lead a rebranding process
- Oversee digital, print, and broadcast advertising and track their success
- Oversee creation of social media campaigns
- Supervise website content
- Work with Managing Director to develop and implement ticket pricing strategies
- Attend relevant internal and external events, including Aurora productions
- Work closely with box office staff on effective communications with the audience
- Update, communicate, and maintain Aurora’s Style Guide
- Maintain organization of Aurora’s photo library
- Work with Managing Director to develop and track Aurora’s budget for marketing and communications
- Provide collateral for Development Department

Multiple Summer Seasonal Positions
Music@Menlo Chamber Music Festival and Institute has multiple summer seasonal staff openings. Typical positions range from four to five weeks in duration from mid-July to early August.
Founded in 2003 by Artistic Directors David Finckel and Wu Han, Music@Menlo brings many of the world’s leading classical musicians to the Bay Area each summer for a three-week festival, with public concerts, lectures, and a major training institute for emerging and pre- professional musicians. Job Summary and Purpose:
The Director of Development will take the lead in building a culture of philanthropy at Aurora. They will lead and inspire staff and board members to achieve annual and long-term fundraising goals and implement growth strategies to advance the Theatre’s work.
Leadership – 60%
- Work with staff and board members to build a culture of philanthropy at Aurora.
Actively participate in and support institutional decision-making and long-range strategic planning as a member of Aurora’s senior team. - Lead the planning and implementation of Aurora’s overall development program, developing annual and long-range strategies that align with strategic objectives and support growth and sustainability across all funding areas.
- Work in close collaboration with the Managing Director and Board to support, guide, and encourage their active participation in fundraising.
- Work closely with Marketing Director to coordinate messaging, collateral materials, and overall strategy for outreach and engagement with new and existing donors.
- Serve as staff liaison to the Board of Directors’ Gala, Planned Giving, and Stewardship Committees and work closely with the Committee Chairs and members to mobilize volunteers and achieve development goals.
- Attend and take minutes for bi-monthly Board of Directors meetings.
- Hire, supervise, mentor, and motivate development staff as required.
- Oversee management of the donor database; oversee selection and transition to a new system.
- Regularly share information and reports with the Board of Directors, Managing Director, and other staff.
- Actively contribute to Aurora’s efforts at Confronting and Dismantling Oppression.
Fundraising/Operational – 40%
- Optimize a robust major gifts pipeline, implementing cultivation and solicitation strategies for gifts of $1,000 and above.
- Oversee the creation, planning, and implementation of donor events
- Create, or oversee the creation of, all collateral materials for development campaigns and events.
- Build relationships with regional and national foundation partners, and identify new projects and partners in collaboration with the senior leadership team.
- Develop new strategies to increase support from corporations and community partners.
- Steward key donors and create new opportunities for donor engagement.
- Develop (or oversee development and implementation of) annual year-end appeal and other campaigns designed to support donor renewal and new acquisition.
- Oversee internal systems for prospect generation and management.
- Oversee and actively participate in planning for major special events.

Announcing the 2022 Film Grants from the Berkeley FILM Foundation
The Berkeley FILM Foundation (BFF) is offering a new round of film grants for its 2022 cycle, opening April 4. BFF supports narrative and documentary works in production, post-production and distribution stages. Grants between $5,000 – $25,000 are awarded to professional and student filmmakers who live or work in the East Bay for films with a strong focus on social or environmental justice. The BFF grant program accepts applicants who live or work in the cities of Berkeley, Emeryville, El Cerrito, Albany, Richmond, and Oakland. Deadline to apply is May 9.
The Berkeley FILM Foundation is a 501(c)(3) grant and educational program for independent filmmakers founded by the City of Berkeley, Wareham Development, and the Saul Zaentz Company with a mission to nurture, sustain and preserve the thriving local film community while attracting the next generation of filmmakers. Since 2009, the Berkeley FILM Foundation has awarded 233 grants totaling $2.08 million to films in the production, post-production and distribution stages.
