Bolinas Museum is seeking an experienced, organized, and creative team player to drive marketing and communications efforts and to coordinate the museum’s diverse public programs and fundraising events. Reporting to the Executive Director, through multiple communication strategies, the successful candidate supports efforts to serve the museum’s mission and community, attract diverse audiences, raise awareness, increase revenues, and cultivate donors and members. She/He/They also maintains a cheerful presence as they coordinate and manage in-person and online public programs such as gallery talks, courtyard concerts, lectures, workshops, tours, and opening receptions, as well as annual fundraisers including small friend-raising events and larger gatherings. The ideal candidate is quality driven, self-motivated, detail oriented, budget conscious, flexible, and a problem solver with strong communication skills and experience serving a nonprofit in a marketing and events coordination role. In this gallery exhibition, we are looking for works of art that convey a sense of movement and action. Works where either the artist’s gestures are evident or the subject of the work is in motion. Art that takes our eyes on a journey. Works that have rhythm and dance.

Black & White
Yarmouth, Massachusetts, invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to our exhibition, Black & White!
THEME
The Cultural Center of Cape Cod invites artists to explore Black & White. Without using the color spectrum, black and white recites a poem, gives us a sense of simplicity and mystery and tells a story in another dimension. It creates a dreamscape that color just never can. We celebrate the beauty and the powerful expressive ability of Black and White artwork. Show us the Black & White through your perspective.

ELIGIBILITY
This call is open to all photographers worldwide, both amateur and professional. Open to ALL fine art mediums (oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, digital art) except video. Any image that has been displayed previously in our online galleries is not eligible. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible.

ENTRY BY WEBSITE UPLOAD ONLY
Entry is done through Café, a web-based service that allows artists to upload images and organize their artwork for submissions to galleries. To apply for a call, you must leave our website and go to the Café website at www.callforentry.org where you can create a FREE artist account. You will add your details and upload your images to Café and then you can submit work to Black & White.
FORMATTING
All images must be in JPEG or JPG format using Café guidelines. The image size must be 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side. Maximum file size is 5 mb.
SALES
All sales inquiries will be directed to the artist’s website.
REGULATIONS
By submitting images, you agree that the images are your own work, you own all rights to the images, and you take full responsibility for the content of all images, including the likeness of recognizable individuals. The actual artwork will remain the property of the artist. The artists will grant copyright to the Cultural Center for display and promotional use. By entering our calls for art through Cafe you are agreeing to be added to the Cultural Center of Cape Cod’s email list for forthcoming artist opportunities.

Exhibition Theme:
For the exhibition “The Power of Vulnerability”, we seek artwork that takes a nuanced approach to exploring the role of personal vulnerability as a site for love, growth, liberation, and transformation. Self identifying BIPOC, LBGTQ+ artists living in California working in 2D & 3D mediums are invited to submit their work for consideration.
Selected artists will be notified by March 31st and will exhibit their work in Gallery 1202’s Spring exhibition in Gilroy, CA beginning April 24, 2021.

Call For Art – DESIGN OUR SIGNS
6th Street Studios & Art Center is soliciting submissions for its inaugural group show. We are beyond excited to be celebrating our newly renovated space located in the heart of Gilroy, Ca. The Art Center is looking for talented artists in the Bay Area to design our mural sign and our drop-down shingle sign. Five designs will be selected for each category and displayed in the window gallery for the month of May where the community will vote for the design they like the best. The results of the community vote will determine the winners who will receive the commissions.

Global Meltdown
Global Meltdown – This call is for a thematic exhibition of artwork related to the the Global Climate Crisis. The exhibition will be held at the Limner Gallery, September 9 – October 2, 2021 and is open to all all interpretations of the Climate Crisis, be it global, local, personal, medical, environmental, financial, psychological, scientific and/or spiritual.
