“Metamorphosis” is the theme of the exhibit scheduled for April 2024.
Metamorphosis as process that manifests itself through mutation and change, as a process determined by the passage from one state to another, and finally as one that in the biological cycle coincides with the breath of nature. Metamorphosis is here a phenomenon that instills the perception of becoming; it is where the transience of the state of things contains the deepest meaning of existence.
Beginning with myths in Greek mythology, probably inspired by natural phenomena, literature has built narratives based on mutations and transformations of people, animals and things, presented as entities that change shape but not their identity. Stories, tales and artistic productions have followed one another over the centuries up to the present day, permeating the phenomenon of Metamorphosis with meanings involving the broadest spectrum, ranging from the philosophical to the technical-scientific, from the biological to the psychological and social fields.
Photographers are invited to submit works responding to the theme, without limit of genres, techniques and styles.

Themeless is an exhibition exploring the concept of “themelessness,” a condition or state lacking a specific theme or subject matter. In a themeless context, the interpretation and purpose of the captured image may vary from viewer to viewer, making the art of themelessness more subjective and open to contemplation. The captured image is the visual representation of a scene or subject that has been recorded through the lens and preserved on a sensor or film to capture the fleeting moment in a photograph, juxtaposing the ephemeral fragments of the scene with its temporary and tangible nature in the corporeal world. What does the concept of themelessness bring to your mind’s eye?
Themeless is an international juried group exhibition open to photographers ages 18 and older. All two-dimensional, conventional, and non-traditional images (alternative post-production processes, etc.) with a subjective analog or digital photographic base are welcome for submission.

Lines, shapes and figures that are undefined and out of focus: these are the aesthetic traits that will unite the works selected for the exhibition entitled “Blurred Visions”.
The call is open to works created using any technique, style and photographic genre.
Images that refer to the collective imagery and imagination, that recall personal experiences through memory and even works of conceptual value.
The main interest of the exhibit will therefore be the perception of the out-of-focus image, the relationship between the observer and the image, and the observer’s participation in the creation of the work through a mental definition of meaning and/or in their emotional response.
