Call for artists! The Center for Contemporary Art 2022 International Juried Exhibition will be held January 14 – February 26, 2022. The exhibition will consist of two- and three-dimensional work in all media. Work across a variety of display solutions is also encouraged. Juror: Erin Jenoa Gilbert is a New York based curator and art advisor, specializing in Modern and Contemporary Art of the African Diaspora. Most recently the Curator of African American Manuscripts at the Smithsonian Archives of American Art, she has also held positions at The Art Institute of Chicago and The Studio Museum in Harlem. 3rd Annual “Primary Colors” Online Art Competition
Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 3rd Annual “Primary Colors” Online Juried Art Competition for the month of November 2021. The gallery invites all 2D and 3D artists (including photography and digital arts) from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion in the Gallery’s December 2021 online group art exhibition.
The gallery encourages entries from artists (including photography & digital arts) regardless of where they reside to apply to this competition by submitting their best representational or abstract art for this competition.
The “Primary Colors” theme is one in which one of the primary colors (Red, Blue &/or Yellow) stands out as a primary artistic element in the artwork. Any subject matter and any media are acceptable in this open theme competition, as long as the colors in the artwork are at least one or more of the three primary colors – Red, Blue &/or Yellow.

Call for Artists: Objects 2022: Open to works Dealing with Objectification, Found Objects, Pop Culture, and/or Consumerism
CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in the International Exhibition, “Objects 2022.” We are open to photography, 2D digital art, video art, interactive art, painting, sculpture and installation art dealing with objectification, found objects, pop culture, and/or consumerism.

Selected works will be printed in 10×15 inches, framed, and installed by our curators & assistants. If requested by the artist, works can be printed and framed in larger sizes. Additional fees may apply.

We will provide projectors and DVD/DIVX players for the show. Multiple single-channel works will be screen through a projector. If the work is required to be screened through a projector exclusively, or more than two projectors/monitors are needed, please indicate the special requirements in the submission email. The artist is responsible for the shipment and delivery of his/her physical work to and from CICA Museum, as well as all related expenses. The two-dimensional work should be no larger than 39 inch (1 m) on the longest side, and the installation piece should be no larger than 39x39x79 inches (1 x 1 x 2 m, w x l x h). The work that needs to be mounted on the wall should not exceed 10 kg. Please indicate in the submission email if you are interested in exhibiting works exceeding the size/weight limit.
