The Forgotten Places call will collect photographic works that will constitute an exhibition/exploration excursus of abandoned, forgotten and rediscovered places, which will lead to a reflection on environmental, historical/social aspects and individual memory.
With the advent of photography, a new documentary approach intervenes in giving a testimony of human kind, through the direct recording of behaviors, but also through the traces they leave.
One of the most representative approaches in the photographic world is that of the phenomenon of Urbex – Urban Exploration – an activity of exploration of abandoned places, its objective being that of documenting the history of those who have lived there, through traces and objects which seem to be fixed and frozen in time.
A further focus of the exhibition is to shed light on the evocative charm of places where nature makes itself manifest by redeeming its spaces, asking questions and offering opportunities for reflections on our relationship with the environment, starting from the need for a more organic relationship with it.
Forgotten Places are also those personal places that pertain to each of our biographies, places that require a return to observe the images of our memories with new eyes, or to rekindle memories of an experience in order to better understand who we are.

Call For Entries: In Dreams
Dreams offer us a glimpse into the realm of the unconscious. Although the images flickering and manifesting behind our eyes may seem bizarre and nonsensical, analysis of one’s dreams can reveal their essence. Beneath the surface of our consciousness, the latent content of dreams illustrates the hidden meaning of our thoughts, drives, and desires. We suppress the manifestation of our unconscious to defend ourselves from primitive emotions that are especially difficult to contend with. What is revealed to you as you sleep and perchance to dream? What images make you stop and ask—am I dreaming?

This call aims to collect monochrome photographic images containing tonal scales of gray or other chromatisms. Beginning with the black and white photographic images, the monochrome product is always intended as an abstraction of reality and as a representation of certain levels of human perception, of the visible and not, through which we gather information on the relationship of humankind with the world.
The Call “Monochromes” also intends to recall the aesthetic-artistic trends that arose from the 50s and 60s, in which color has a primary function in conveying or reinforcing messages and meanings, aimed at arousing emotional reactions on the part of the observer.
