The Great American Nudes exhibition explores the beauty, strength, diversity and vulnerability of the human body. CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in “Abstract Mind 2025,” the 10th International Exhibition on Abstract Art.

Selected works will be printed on A3 (297 x 420 mm) foam poster board, and installed by our curators and assistants. If requested by the artist, works can be printed and framed in different sizes. Additional fees may apply. If a special printing process is required, the artist may print and frame the works, and ship them to us. Please refer to the “physical works” guidelines below.

We will provide projectors and DVD/DIVX players for the show. Multiple single-channel works will be screen through a projector. If the work is required to be screened through a projector exclusively, or more than two projectors/monitors are needed, please indicate the special requirements in the submission email. Additional fees may apply.
-Painting, Sculpture, & Installation Art
The artist is responsible for the shipment and delivery of his/her physical work to and from CICA Museum, as well as all related expenses. The two-dimensional work should be no larger than 39 inch (1 m) on the longest side, and the installation piece should be no larger than 39x39x79 inches (1 x 1 x 2 m, w x l x h). The work that needs to be mounted on the wall should not exceed 10 kg. Please indicate in the submission email if you are interested in exhibiting works exceeding the size/weight limit.

14th Annual “Nature” Online Art Competition
Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces the 14th Annual “Nature” Online Art Competition.
The “Nature” theme is the artist’s interpretation and depiction of nature art. Nature subjects include geographical subjects, landscapes, natural objects, wildlife and natural environments. Both 2D & 3D artists (including photography & digital arts) are invited to submit their best representational and/or abstract art.
Best in Show winner will receive a cash prize. Winners receive extensive worldwide publicity and promotion.
Entry Fees: $18.00 for 1 to 2 entries / $26.00 for 3 to 5 entries. Early entry and art student discounts.

Time and Wisdom of The Land invites photographers to explore and document the stories that landscapes tell over time. Whether it’s geological wonders, traces of civilization in natural settings, ancient mysticism, or the ever-changing face of the wilderness; we are looking for images that convey the deep, intricate history written on the land.

5% of artist entry fees goes to the charity of the jurors. Debe Arlook and Fred Brashear Jr. have chosen the Las Fotos Project, a Los Angeles nonprofit photography organization that mentors teenage girls.

We are offering $3,500 and $1,000 grants to artists and photographers around the world.
For this open call, we will be providing 6 grants totaling $11,000 USD.

We invite artists from all backgrounds to submit their artwork for our juried exhibition, “Small Works.” This showcase aims to celebrate the power of small artworks that invites viewers to explore the intricacies of minute details. All media is welcome, including: painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, textiles, mixed media, etc. Artwork must not exceed 16 inches in any dimension, including frame.
Small Works is a juried exhibition held at Strata Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The exhibition will run from January 10 – 31, 2025.

About the Jurors:
David Olivant is the President and co-founder of Strata Gallery. He currently works and lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He received his MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art in London.
Jennifer Van is the Director and co-founder of Strata Gallery. She works and lives in Los Angeles, California. She received her MFA in Photography and Media at California Institute of the Arts.
Stephanie Jacinto is the Assistant Director and co-founder of Strata Gallery. She works and lives in Los Angeles, California.

Sales of Artwork
Each respective artist will handle the sale and shipping of any sold artwork included in the Small Works exhibition. Strata Gallery will collect contact information of all interested buyers and provide that information to the artist who will then execute the sale and shipping of their artwork. All sold artwork included in the Small Works exhibition will be subject to 20% commission which will be due to Strata Gallery.
Application Requirements
All artwork must be hang/display ready with the proper hardware (i.e., paintings framed with wire).
Media accepted: painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, photography, textiles, mixed media, etc.
2D Artwork maximum size: 16” x 16” including frame.
3D Artwork maximum size: 16” x 16” x 16”
Max Weight: 25 lbs.
Submitted work must remain available for the duration of the exhibition.
No changes to information can be made once submitted.
