Arte Natura is a thematic exhibition based on art inspired by the natural world. The exhibition will be held at the Limner Gallery, May 13 – June 5, 2021 and is open to all artists working in any media. All interpretations of the theme are acceptable, including landscape, fruits, vegetables, flowers and fauna and human figuration as part of the natural environment. $500 cash award. Poetry Out Loud Coordinator
The California Arts Council has opened a new Request for Proposals seeking an individual (contractor) to coordinate the state Poetry Out Loud (POL) program and the POL State Finals competition. One contract is expected to be awarded through this RFP process.
Qualified candidates will demonstrate knowledge of and experience in event, project and program management; writing, documentation and reports; working with students aged 11-18; and cultural sensitivity and competency.
The contractor will be engaged for a period of four months beginning February 1, 2021 and concluding May 31, 2021. It is not anticipated that the contract will be renewed beyond the initial contract period. The contractor will work independently under the general direction of CAC staff. Please note that CAC staff will be available for guidance, but the contractor will take primary responsibility for all aspects of the project’s work.

THEME
The woods are calling! What is it about the mystery of the woods that calls us in? The change of shape and shade within each season. It brings us gifts of blazing color in the fall after the heat of summer and marks the precious first signs of spring after the weight of winter. The Woods truly have their own personality and energy. What is it about the woods that moves you? Show us Into the Woods from your perspective.

FRAMING
Framed work must be fitted firmly in frame with wire for hanging. No loose glass over mats. Gallery wrapped canvases are permitted. Poorly presented work will not be hung.
ARTWORK DELIVERY
Shipping, return shipping and a handling fees are the responsibility of the artist. Delivery instructions will accompany email notification of acceptance. Purchase of return shipping labels is the responsibility of the artist. All artwork must arrive by the scheduled receiving date.

THEME
The Cultural Center of Cape Cod invites artists to explore The Magic of Water. We are here because of water. Vital for all known forms of life, water covers 75% of the earth’s surface and 70% of our bodies are water, we cannot live without it. From the smallest droplet to the vast ocean, water has the power to sustain, transport, destroy, inspire, and calm us. We are memorized by its ability to distort, magnify, elongate, and reflect. Show us the Magic of Water from your perspective.

10th Annual All Women Online Art Competition
Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 10th Annual “All Women” Online Juried Art Competition for the month of December 2020. The gallery invites all 2D and 3D women artists only (including photography and digital arts), from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion in the Gallery’s January 2021 online group art exhibition.
The gallery encourages women artists (including photography & digital art), regardless of where they reside, to apply to this competition by submitting their best representational or abstract art. There is no theme for this competition, so any subject matter and any media are acceptable.
The deadline to apply to this art competition is December 27, 2020.
