Always, Somewhere – Artist Call
CALL FOR ARTISTS – FREE SUBMISSION
Always, Somewhere
January 13 – March 9, 2027
There are some people, places, and moments that never really leave us.
A favorite song. A handwritten note. The smell of perfume on a sweater. The diner where you fell in love. The person you still think about years later. Love has a way of lingering—living quietly in memory, in objects, in places, and in the stories we carry with us.
FOLD Gallery invites artists to submit work for Always, Somewhere, a group exhibition exploring love, longing, nostalgia, memory, and connection. We welcome interpretations that are joyful, bittersweet, romantic, unexpected, or deeply personal.
We encourage submissions exploring themes such as:
First loves and lasting love
Heartbreak and healing
Family and chosen family
Friendship and devotion
Memory and nostalgia
Places tied to people
Letters, keepsakes, and mementos
The passage of time
Hope, longing, and belonging
All visual mediums are welcome, including:
Painting
