Under direction of the Staff Services Manager (SSM) I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) in the California Arts Council (CAC) Operations Unit independently performs the more complex and technical analytical work such as developing and managing the agency’s annual operating budget and federal grant, expense monitoring and revenue tracking, performing program evaluation and planning, performing policy analysis, systems development and writing policies and procedures. This position will process complex requests for personnel actions in coordination with the Office of Human Resources (OHR), utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, the Personnel Operations Manual (POM), and CAC policies and procedures.
This position is Hybrid and eligible for telework up to three days per week in accordance with Statewide Telework Policy, with required in-office attendance at the Sacramento office on Wednesdays and Thursdays and/or as needed/required. Beginning July 1, 2026, telework eligibility will be reduced to one day per week, with in-office attendance required four days per week and/or as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California at the time of appointment.
