The California Arts Council is seeking a Procurement Administrator (Associate Governmental Program Analyst) to join our operations team. Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Procurement Administrator independently performs the more complex and technical analytical work related to the agency’s procurement and contracting processes utilizing various Microsoft Office programs, training materials, the Financial Information System for California (Fi$Cal), the California Contracts Register and eProcurement while following the State Contracting Manual (SCM) and the State Administrative Manual (SAM).

Statement of Qualifications:
A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required. The SOQ is a narrative discussion of how a candidate’s education, training, experience and skills qualify that candidate for the position. Resumes DO NOT take the place of the SOQ. The Statement must be typed and not more than 1 page in length, using no less than 11 point Arial font and respond to the following questions:
1. Describe, in detail, your experience in and knowledge of the PROCUREMENT process in the California State service.
2. Describe in detail your experience with California State contracts.
3. (Optional) If applicable, you may include any unique work experience or knowledge you possess that qualifies you for this position.
