As our Gallery Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both the gallery and auction house, handling a diverse range of administrative and personal assistant duties. From scheduling and correspondence to auction logistics, billing, customer service, fine arts research, and cataloging, you will ensure smooth operations as a key member on our team. You will serve as the primary liaison between gallery director Robert Berman and internal/external stakeholders, showcasing your exceptional organizational skills and industry knowledge. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with a passion for fine art, sales, or executive environments, coupled with stellar customer service and communication abilities. Prior experience in sales or fine art is a bonus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Assist correspondence for gallery and auction house operations
– Administrative tasks, including filing, invoicing, and client communications via in-person/phone/e-mail
– Coordinate auction logistics, including set-up, billing, and tracking sales
– Provide exceptional customer service to gallery visitors, clients, and auction participants
– Conduct fine arts research
– Support gallery installations, appointments, and special event preparations
REQUIREMENTS
– This part-time or full-time role requires availability in our Santa Monica gallery Tuesday through Saturday, 11am-5/6pm
– Flexible availability needed for openings, auctions, and special events
– Local candidates with access to transportation are preferred to assist with appointments and installations.

SR. Marketing Director
A Noise Within (ANW) a professional regional theatre – seeks a visionary Sr. Director of Marketing to oversee audience development efforts for the company. The Sr. Director of Marketing is a vital member of ANW’s Core Leadership Team and is responsible for crafting an effective brand for the company, engaging and growing audiences, and generating earned revenue from ticket sales. The successful candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced highly collaborative and data-driven environment. They will motivate and coach the marketing staff and contractors as we connect our audiences with 6 mainstage productions and numerous one-off events generating nearly $2 million in ticket sales annually, with a strong subscription base of loyal patrons.
As with all staff, the Sr. Director of Marketing will also have a role in implementing and contributing to ANW’s Strategic Plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organizational Branding
• Crafts and enforces ANW’s institutional brand voice that is present at all points of patron and community interaction with the organization.
• Develops key messaging, visuals, and content for each ANW project that that are leveraged through all communication platforms.
Earned Revenue – Ticket Sales
• Develops and executes strategic marketing plans and campaign plans for subscription and single ticket sales. Oversees Marketing Manager to ensure effective campaign execution.
• Develops and enforces a data-driven approach to marketing decision-making: guides development of marketing and ticketing reports by the Marketing Manager and Patron Services Manager; oversees all audience research projects; utilizes learnings in campaign planning.
• Develops annual department budgets to support effective campaign plans, based on leveraging best return on spend. Negotiates ad buys with vendors to ensure best exposure for the budget.
• Ensures effective revenue management, by collaborating with the Patron Services Manager’s work on ticket pricing and inventory management. Works together with the Patron Services Manager to set single ticket and subscription prices for the year.
• Manages direct mail marking (postcard/brochure mailings) and manages all marketing contractors (social, press, graphic design, photography, videography, etc.).
Media Relations & Publicity
• Develops and maintains relationships with key journalists in the market.
• Oversees development of press releases and ensures adherence to ANW’s brand voice and the project’s key messaging.
• Oversees PR and social media contractors.
Community Engagement
• Develops equity, diversity, and inclusion standards for the department and marketing communications.
• Oversees the development of rich content that educates, informs, and engage new and loyal audiences in ANW’s work.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, with a focus on branding and data-driven strategy. Must understand how to mine data for information that guides action.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience, leading a team of 3 or more.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience at a cultural organization (performing arts, museum, or other visitor attraction).
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Ability to inspire people with diverse backgrounds to work effectively together toward shared objectives.
• Superior creative vision, and ability to give direction to teammates to manifest that vision.
• Strategically minded. Able to leverage data to craft excellent marketing plans.
• Excellent communicator with external and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Facility with CRM databases such as Spektrix (our system) or equivalent.

COMPENSATION & STRUCTURE:
The position is full time, exempt with a salary of $85,000-$100,000 annually depending on experience.

The Virtual Learning Coordinator’s duties include facilitating, coordinating, and daily management of the museum’s virtual visit program. Actively engage visitors of all ages in discussion & dialogue in a virtual environment; recruits and coaches volunteers in conducting presentations and discussions online. Requires familiarity with object-based teaching, responsible for building the institution’s capacity to fulfil strategic priorities, Education unit teaching philosophy and school visit learning objectives. Anti-bias and anti-racist teaching must be promoted in the facilitation of active learning experiences that encourage independent critical thinking, making connections, and interacting with peers.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Museum Studies or Asian American Studies preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 1 year of experience in developing museum education programs, or the equivalent in related experience. Knowledge of basic school district policies and procedures. Knowledge of object-based teaching and creating learner- centered programs. Professional email and phone manner is essential. Must be able to provide courteous and effective service to co-workers, volunteers, school audiences, corporate audiences and the general public. Prior non-profit, museum experience and working with volunteers is beneficial. Occasional early morning or late nights to accommodate varied time zones. Knowledge of Japanese American history, culture and community is a plus; however, sensitivity to issues of diversity and ethnicity is essential. Criminal Background and credit check required. Monday – Friday schedule. No paid relocation. Salary range: $18.75 to $21.89 per hour DOE.

THE OPPORTUNITY: The Senior Director of Principal Giving is a highly collaborative, proactive, resourceful professional who is passionate about arts, culture, and civic engagement. The Senior Director is responsible for developing meaningful relationships by creating and overseeing cultivation and stewardship strategies that engage and connect principal donors to the mission and vision of The Music Center.
The candidate for this position will join a 22-person team of dynamic fundraising professionals. The Music Center is led by committed, diverse, and inspirational leaders. The Senior Director will execute a comprehensive plan to maximize the success of various fundraising efforts and secure significant philanthropic resources from individual donors for The Music Center’s fundraising priorities. In collaboration with The Vice President of Advancement, the Senior Director will also provide strategic leadership for various fundraising activities of the advancement office, including the launch of a historic comprehensive campaign.
The Senior Director of Principal Giving reports to the Vice President of Advancement and serves as an integral member of the development team. Reporting to the Senior Director is a team of two professionals.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Genuine interest in The Music Center’s mission and a strong commitment to the arts.
- A minimum of six years of progressively responsible experience in the advancement field.
- A proven track record of success in personally cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major and principal gifts from individual donors.
- A high level of comfort and effectiveness working with high-net-worth individual and organizational leaders.
- Ability to evaluate, strengthen, and enhance the principal gift pipeline. Develop and implement new and innovative ways to identify and acquire prospective donors, increase donor retention, and upgrade and renew existing donors.
- Demonstrate leadership experience in building fundraising programs and teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and achievement.
- History of direct experience in developing and implementing sophisticated strategies for donor/volunteer involvement, and proven ability to close gifts.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from key leaders, donors, and prospects.
- Excellent listening, writing, and speaking skills.
- Superior analytical, planning, problem solving, and supervisory skills with reliably sound judgment, self-direction, attention to detail, and high energy.
- Adherence to the highest standard of best practices and ethics in the fundraising field.
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
The annual compensation range for this position is $150,000-$165,000. This is a full-time exempt position. Currently, the Advancement team practices a hybrid schedule with weekly work onsite for team days as well as for performance and events. The compensation package includes medical, dental, and vision health plan, welfare insurance benefits, a 401(k) plan with employer contribution, and paid vacation and sick days.
