With support from the California Arts Council, TeenTix LA will expand and sustain ongoing work that breaks down barriers to arts participation for teens across Los Angeles County through affordable tickets, partnerships, and youth-focused initiatives.
CAC funds will support the TeenTix Pass Program, which provides free membership for teens ages 13–19 to access $5 tickets at 40+ arts partners, along with outreach and infrastructure that connect teens to these opportunities. This includes partnerships with schools and community-based organizations, teen-friendly communications that demystify the arts-going process, and systems that support participation.
Funding will also support youth leadership pathways, including stipends for teen interns and expansion of the Ambassador Program.
Together, this work increases access to the arts, fosters youth engagement, and invests in the long-term sustainability of Los Angeles’ arts ecosystem.
TeenTix LA expands equitable access to the arts for teens across Los Angeles County through two core programs: the TeenTix Pass Program and the TeenTix Internship Program.
The TeenTix Pass Program provides free membership to teens ages 13–19, giving them access to $5 day-of-show tickets at 40+ arts and cultural partners across Los Angeles, including theaters, museums, music venues, and more. Through a curated online calendar, TeenTix LA demystifies the arts-going experience and empowers teens to independently discover and attend events that reflect their interests.
The TeenTix Internship Program offers paid, hands-on learning opportunities for young people to build skills in arts administration, marketing, and community engagement. Interns contribute directly to program outreach, content creation, and event activation, ensuring that teen voice remains central to all aspects of the organization’s work.
Together, these programs remove financial and cultural barriers to arts participation while cultivating the next generation of arts audiences, advocates, and leaders.
