With support from the California Arts Council, Sheed Entertainment will produce Fountain of Eternity, a multidisciplinary cultural project exploring migration, identity, and cultural connection through Iranian and Mongolian traditions. The project includes a public performance with community-centered activities such as workshops, artist talks, and interactive sessions engaging diverse audiences.
Led by composer and santoor player Ehsan Matoori, the project brings together live music, Sufi-inspired movement and contemporary dance, and storytelling, featuring Persian classical music and Mongolian throat singing. These programs provide access to underrepresented traditions and foster cross-cultural exchange.
CAC funding supports artist fees, production, workshops, and public programming, ensuring accessibility and meaningful community engagement across California.
Sheed Entertainment produces and presents multidisciplinary performances that combine live music, storytelling, and visual elements, often rooted in Persian and world music traditions. Core programs include original touring productions such as “Fountain of Eternity,” which integrates music, dance, and narrative to explore themes of migration and cultural exchange, as well as concert series featuring international artists and collaborations across genres. The organization also develops recording projects, music videos, and community-based performances that bring diverse audiences together. In addition, Sheed Entertainment engages in educational and outreach activities, including workshops, artist talks, and culturally focused programming designed to increase access to global artistic traditions.
