Critical support from the State-Local Partners Program aids Plumas Arts in sustaining and strengthening countywide access to cultural opportunities across one of California’s most rural regions. As the designated agency for Plumas County, Plumas Arts serves as a vital connector between artists, communities, schools, and cultural resources, ensuring that residents of all ages and backgrounds can participate in meaningful creative experiences regardless of geographic or economic barriers.
Grant support will expand multidisciplinary programming in visual, performing, and cultural arts through workshops, classes, exhibitions and events led by local and regional artists. Funding will also support outreach, engagement, materials, and facility access to underserved communities throughout the county, including youth, seniors and rural residents with limited access to art opportunities.
This investment strengthens an inclusive arts ecosystem supporting artists, community connection and quality of life countywide.
