The Musicians at Play Foundation (MAP) promotes awareness of Los Angeles’ diverse musical heritage through professional live and digital performances, music education & mentorship programs. To fill the need by underserved youth and communities, MAP creates through music, diverse community partnerships to inspire careers, establish social bonds and celebrate culture.

MAP works toward a world where all children have access to the unique social, emotional and intellectual benefits of the Live & digital musical experience. We effect change through our programs and enhance students growth by developing imagination, language, reasoning and intellectual curiosity. Access to professional musicians through our mentorship programs give students role models who can support and guide their lives. Live & Digital performance instills confidence, builds teamwork, teaches students responsible risk taking & builds diverse communities.
