With support from the California Arts Council, the Lake Almanor Basin Performing Arts Association will be able to provide music and art related programs and services for the community of Lake Almanor and surrounding areas. This small rural community of less than 3,000 people has almost no access to music and the arts. Bringing people together for musical offerings creates community and connection across all ages and diverse backgrounds.

Grant funding will be used to pay for contract stipends for: Musical Director, Assistant Director, Bell Ensemble Director, Pianist and Sound Engineer. In addition, funds will be utilized for printing, mailings and advertising (fliers, programs, banners, etc) We would also like to rent some needed sound equipment for annual performances.
