Project Description

The Kaululehua Hawaiian Cultural Center/Hālau O Keikiali’i is a Native, Of Color, and LGBTQ+ led Native Hawaiian cultural arts and dance group based in South San Francisco under the direction of Kumu Hula Kawika Alfiche. Since 1994, our goal has been to educate the general public about the Hawaiian Culture, its traditional customs, values, and protocols. Through regularly scheduled traditional arts classes, public workshops, and frequent performances and cross-cultural events, we strive to perpetuate the rich culture of the Hawaiian people in California, strengthening our bonds and teaching about healing through aloha for each other and our natural world.
