Inclusive Kids Network will use Cal Arts Council grant funds to deliver inclusive, sensory-friendly arts programming for neurodiverse youth and their families in underserved communities in South San Diego. Funding will support a series of structured, multi-week Sensory Art & Play sessions, as well as community-based events that provide accessible opportunities for creative expression, social connection, and arts learning.
Grant funds will be used for facilitator stipends, accessible supplies, outreach, and space-related costs to ensure programs remain low-cost or free to participants. Activities will include hands-on visual arts experiences and sensory-informed practices designed to support emotional regulation, communication, and peer engagement. Through this project, Inclusive Kids Network will increase access to the arts for children of all abilities, foster inclusive community spaces, and promote equity by removing barriers to participation for neurodiverse youth and their families.
