With support from the California Arts Council, House of Palestine will provide a youth-centered cultural arts education program serving San Diego youth through hands-on workshops, performances, and interactive learning experiences. The program will engage participants ages 8–18 in traditional Palestinian dance (dabke), visual arts, storytelling, and cultural crafts, led by experienced teaching artists and cultural practitioners.

Funds will support teaching artist fees, program coordination, and workshop materials necessary to deliver consistent, high-quality arts instruction. Youth participants will develop creative skills, cultural awareness, and confidence through participatory learning and performance opportunities.

This program expands access to culturally relevant arts education for underserved youth and fosters cross-cultural understanding while strengthening San Diego’s diverse arts ecosystem.
