Project Description

Everyday Arts provides educators, school districts, and families with research-based methodology, standards-based curriculum, and professional development to strengthen the social-emotional, developmental, and academic skills of youth with diverse learning needs. Although Everyday Arts officially incorporated in 2019 as a fiscally sponsored organization of the Institute for Education, Research and Scholarship (IFERS), Everyday Arts is founded by the creators and administrators of its previous program incarnation: Everyday Arts for Special Education, which was a $6 million research-driven project funded by the US Dept. of Education and served special education schools and classrooms in the Los Angeles Unified School District for over six years. IFERS is an award-winning California-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity organization dedicated to improving society by conducting scientific and social research. Since 2014, IFERS has fiscally sponsored and implemented arts programming.
