Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, CENTER FOR MUSIC AND WELLNESS INC will strengthen its organizational capacity to sustain and expand access to free, accessible, live music and wellness experiences for historically underserved Californians. The organization serves children, youth, adults, and older adults living with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, autism, Alzheimer’s and related dementias, and other health-related or socioeconomic barriers that limit participation in traditional arts settings.
As a growing nonprofit currently led by a part-time volunteer leadership team, this project will support a critical transition to our first full-time paid position for the Executive Director role. This position will provide dedicated leadership to advance fundraising, build strategic partnerships, oversee program implementation, and develop the organizational infrastructure necessary to sustain and expand program access across community-based settings in Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino counties.
