With support from the California Arts Council, Arts and Culture Alpine County (ACAC) will offer arts and culture opportunities to the residents and visitors of Alpine County. Library Arts Shows featuring local area artists, workshops and classes taught by local area artists, Alpine County school student events, and an arts and culture walk at Hot Springs State Park are planned.
Upcoming ACAC sponsored Diamond Valley School events include a poster contest and a Haiku-writing unit for grades 7 & 8.
At least one local crafts fair will be offered this coming year.
In addition, ACAC needs technical, graphic, and accounting services, as well as communication services for our planned office. CAC financial support will provide those, as well as insurance, rent and utilities.
