With support from the California Arts Council, ARTOGETHER will sustain and strengthen the core operations that allow us to serve newcomer refugee, immigrant, and first- and second-generation communities across the Bay Area. CAC funds will support staff salaries, rent, and utilities at our Oakland Center, enabling us to maintain the infrastructure, programming space, and team capacity needed to deliver our artist residency, youth and in-school arts programs, community art workshops, and culturally relevant public art projects. In a period of funding uncertainty, this support helps us protect free, language-accessible programming that connects refugee and immigrant artists, families, and youth to creative practice, wellness, and community at a time when stable, welcoming spaces matter most.
