The Anna H. Wang Concert Series (AHWCS) requests $5,000 in California Arts Council General Operating Grant support to strengthen the organizational infrastructure that makes its California programming possible. CAC funds will support core operations: staff coordination, audience development and outreach, community engagement infrastructure, and administrative capacity. These operational investments enable AHWCS to sustain and grow its presence in Riverside — including a solo recital by Van Cliburn Gold Medal laureate Aristo Sham (January 30, 2027) and Cliburn in the Classroom educational programming in partnership with Riverside Unified School District (RUSD) and The Cliburn — while building the long-term organizational capacity to serve Inland Empire communities with world-class classical music year after year.
