Project Description

The mission of the AfroSolo Theatre Company is to nurture, promote and present African American and African Diasporan art and culture through solo performances and the visual and literary arts. Through art, we bring people of all ethnicities together to explore and share the human spirit that binds us all. In all of our programming, we seek to illuminate the diverse range of styles, disciplines, and perspectives of African American artists, and to use art to address issues of relevance to people of all ages in the Black community in ways that are empowering and counteract negative stereotypes.
