Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, the Afro-American Chamber Music Society Orchestra will present three concerts for the Black Symphonist Concert Series including the following: (1) Black Legend Composers Concert on February 7, 2027; (2) Chevalier Festival Concert on April 11, 2027 and (3) Juneteenth Celebration, June 6, 2027.
Organization Summary
The Afro-American Chamber Music Society Orchestra presents three concerts during the Black Symphonist Concert Series including: 1) The Black Legend Composers; 2) The Saint-Georges Festival and the 3) Juneteenth Celebration Concert; and 4) four music masterclasses for Crenshaw High School teaching articulation, music literacy and Black composers’ works.
