With support from the California Arts Council, POLARIS EDUCATION FOUNDATION will present the 4th annual Harmony of Hearts Young Art Exhibition, a free community-based visual arts program serving historically underserved K–12 youth throughout the Inland Empire, including students from Title I schools, multilingual families, and youth with disabilities. The project will provide equitable access to public arts engagement through youth art exhibitions, workshops, artist demonstrations, multilingual outreach, and accessibility accommodations. Activities will take place at ADA-compliant community venues, including the Goldy S. Lewis Community Center, and will connect schools, families, artists, and community partners through inclusive arts experiences. CAC funds will support youth arts programming, exhibition production, accessibility resources, multilingual community outreach, and public engagement activities that uplift youth voices, cultural identity, and creative expression through the visual arts.
The Polaris Education Foundation is passionately committed to nurturing the educational, artistic, and personal growth of K–12 students, especially those from low-income and multicultural backgrounds. Our core programs provide free or low-cost access to high-quality arts and enrichment experiences, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to explore their creativity and connect with their community.
Youth Arts Programs (Flagship Focus):
At the center of our mission is a deep commitment to youth arts. Our flagship program, the Harmony of Hearts Young Art Exhibition, celebrates the creative voices of hundreds of young artists annually, offering a public platform for self-expression, confidence-building, and cultural connection. In addition, we provide year-round art workshops, exhibitions, and hands-on creative activities that inspire youth and foster a lasting appreciation for the arts.
Creative and Cultural Enrichment Programs:
We offer a variety of free or affordable programs that support artistic growth and cultural learning, including:
• Visual Arts & Crafting Clubs – where students explore drawing, painting, mixed media, and design.
• Little Chef & Culinary Arts – introducing creativity through cooking, presentation, and cultural traditions.
• Girls’ Dance & Cultural Expression – combining movement, music, and heritage to build confidence and community.
• Themed Art Camps & Seasonal Projects – including rock painting, pin-making, and multicultural crafts tied to community events.
By making the arts accessible to all, Polaris cultivates creativity, celebrates diversity, and supports the development of confident, expressive, and connected youth.
