With support from the California Arts Council, the Visalia Art League (VAL) will secure and sustain a dedicated, accessible facility in the City of Visalia. Grant funds will support rent, utilities, and basic facility setup, enabling consistent delivery of year-round arts programming, including classes, workshops, demonstrations, and exhibitions. Funding will also provide for limited staffing support and outreach to underserved communities across Tulare County. Establishing a permanent space will strengthen VAL’s organizational stability, expand equitable access to arts participation, and increase program frequency and community engagement. This investment directly supports ongoing operations and long-term sustainability to help advance access, equity, and cultural vitality in Tulare County.
