With support from the California Arts Council, The Greenhouse Project (GHP) will fund a part-time administrative position to develop and coordinate Greenhouse programs and to help ground and grow our organization. We will also hire a website consultant to help us improve our visibility and outreach. As a small, multidisciplinary arts organization, we present a wide variety of events focusing on art, food, and climate justice, but to date we have operated through volunteer labor by the core collective with support from community members. As we intensified our focus on community resilience in the face of climate crisis, and built ambitious programming for the coming year, CAC funding will provide essential continuity for the organization as well as increasing our visibility in, and outreach to, our communities.
