Hmong Culture Camp will use California Arts Council General Operating Support to sustain and expand community-rooted Hmong arts programming that preserves and celebrates cultural traditions through music, dance, storytelling, and visual arts. Funding will support core operations, including artist stipends, cultural practitioners, program coordination, and organizational infrastructure necessary to deliver high-quality, culturally grounded experiences for youth and families.
Support will also provide essential materials, instruments, clothing, and supplies that make hands-on cultural arts participation possible, as well as technology that expands access to hybrid and community-based programming. CAC funding will strengthen organizational capacity, deepen partnerships across the Central Valley, and ensure programs remain free or low-cost. Through this investment, Hmong Culture Camp will advance the intergenerational transmission of Hmong cultural arts while fostering identity, belonging, and creative expression within historically underrepresented communities.
