Expand Mongolian language and traditional music education across Alameda and neighboring Bay Area counties via blended in‑person and online instruction. Grant funds will pay teaching artists, a program manager, bookkeeper, and admin support; purchase and adapt instruments and materials (including left‑handed and low‑motor‑skill equipment); provide Mongolian–English translation, targeted outreach, and transportation stipends; subsidize sliding‑scale tuition and family events; and cover venue, technology, and evaluation costs.

MAEC will deliver weekly morin khuur and heritage language classes, calligraphy workshops, pop‑up performances, school assemblies, and accessible public recitals (including sensory‑friendly and ASL‑interpreted events). We collect accommodation requests at enrollment, provide adaptive instruments, ADA venues, captions/recordings, flexible scheduling, and staff trained in inclusive pedagogy. The project will serve ~200 participants, deliver 150–200 instructional hours, host family events, place interns, and evaluate outcomes via pre/post surveys, attendance tracking, and interviews.
