This proposal supports the hiring of a part-time administrative staff member to strengthen ECC’s day-to-day operations and program delivery. Currently, these responsibilities are managed by a team of volunteers, limiting capacity and consistency. Grant funds will enable us to compensate for this role and formalize essential operational functions, including coordinating Saturday programming (preparing materials, supporting teaching staff, and ensuring smooth class execution), managing registration and attendance systems, organizing events, and maintaining financial tracking and documentation.
This position is critical to building the infrastructure needed for sustainable growth. By ensuring reliable, behind-the-scenes operations, administrative support will allow leadership to focus on program expansion, partnerships, and long-term impact, while improving the quality and consistency of services delivered to youth and families.
In response to the evolving and extremely diverse needs of the Eritrean community, our various programs focus on physical, mental, social, cultural, and economic well-being. Current programs include community health and wellbeing, cultural literacy, immigration assistance, music and dance, cooking and workforce development.
