Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, PETALUMA ARTS COUNCIL will use grant funds to support personnel. The Executive Director was hired in the fall 2025 due to a successful year-long fundraising campaign. The position had been vacant for two years due to financial constraints. PAC needs to continue its fundraising efforts to fortify the 4 current part-time positions: Executive Director, Gallery Manager, Program Manager; Volunteer and Membership Manager.

Organization Summary

In its eighteen years as the predominant arts institution of southwestern Sonoma County, Petaluma Arts Center has evolved into a venue focused on high quality art exhibitions and events to an arts advocacy organization that builds on community resources to expand our creative capacity. As a result, PAC has become more relevant and integrated into the community it serves. Our goal is to strengthen the cohesiveness and legitimacy of our community through inclusive collaborations with artists and residents that strengthen the local economy. We set to accomplish this by engaging in thought-provoking exhibits, programming and events. We consider ourselves ‘a third place,’ beyond home and work and a destination that brings community together.
