With the support from the California Arts Council, Healing Heels will be able to strengthen the organization’s administrative, operational, and technical infrastructure in support of its year-round community arts programming throughout Sacramento County.

Grant funds will support administrative staffing, program coordination, marketing and outreach, bookkeeping and financial management, insurance, technology and software, website and communications management, contractor support, technical equipment, and other organizational expenses necessary to sustain and expand Healing Heels’ arts education and community engagement efforts.

Funding will increase the organization’s operational capacity, improve long-term sustainability, and support the continued development of accessible, culturally responsive arts programming serving youth, families, schools, and underserved communities. We will also support workforce development opportunities for arts administrators, teaching artists, and technical support staff while strengthening our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality programming.
