Project Description

California Arts Council grant funds for the General Operating Support will be used to provide overhead expenses, which include: rent, electricity, water, gas, phone, internet, gardening, professional fee (CPA), advertising, and insurance. This will help to keep our organization running smoothly to continue to serve our community of disadvantaged youth and discover talented students.

Organization Summary

We have 14 highly qualified instructors and staff, many with advanced degrees from USC; 5 have earned their PhD. We have 2 buildings on site.
We also have Python coding classes to educate the youth on coding languages.
We have Art for all ages, instructed in a wide range of media. Our teacher has a Master’s in Fine Arts from CSU, Fullerton. We offer small group lessons, 3 to 5 students, in a weekly one-hour program.
Our music lessons are private, once a week. We have an annual student recital to showcase for our community, and our faculty has an annual public recital. We teach classical music and follow the Visual and Performing Arts Content Standards for California Public Schools. Every year, most of our students participate in the Certificate of Merit Program held by the Music Teachers Association of California.
