PVAA offers community art experience:
through exhibitions, monthly online exhibits, community art walks, young artist exhibits, gallery representation, and artists giving back to the community through workshops, demonstrations and talks that enhance artistic knowledge, skill, and learning. We intend to continue community involvement with Claremont Chamber of Commerce’s activities as well as being active members of the Claremont Village, participating in key area activations such as the Village Venture, Art- and Wine-Walks, and seasonal events. Our teams are already collaborating with our neighborhood merchants to share ideas, space, create a vibrant area for locals, and draw visitors.

PVAA continues to work with at-risk and under serviced:
including the youth in the area by providing non-profit community service documentation, gallery experience, and communication skills. PVAA has worked with a number of schools and non-profits to raise funding through art festivals and events. PVAA worked in conjunction with senior care facilities and dementia patients utilizing art as therapy to improve cognitive and sensorimotor functions as well as fostering self-esteem and self-awareness. PVAA currently supports Wings Women’s Shelter and volunteers with Rising Stars Equestrian Therapy which works with physically and mentally challenged children.

PVAA gives voice to the marginalized and under-represented: PVAA desires to enhance our understanding of diversity in creative fields. Efforts to make creative fields more diverse, equitable, and inclusive through representing various cultures in gallery shows. PVAA has been involved in cultural celebrations through Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, Chinese New Year. We have representation for Women’s History Month, Breast Cancer Awareness, LGBTQ+, and the incarcerated.

PVAA desires to give a voice to all in our community.
