With support from the California Arts Council, Best Practice will be better situated to increase staff salaries and provide artists with payment for exhibiting their work. Since its inception, Best Practice has presented 71 exhibitions and events, supporting more than 150 artists from San Diego, Baja California, across the United States, and internationally relying heavily on volunteer labor, including both staff and participating artists. Securing funding for salaries and artist fees will allow us to build organizational capacity, expand our audience, and establish a more sustainable financial foundation for continued growth and impact.
