With support from the California Arts Council, Riot Productions will continue our work within the San Diego historically underserved communities of poverty to make arts accessible, while focusing specifically on our stated mission of amplifying the voices of womxn at the intersection of the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities in our plays and musicals. We will continue to tell womxn’s stories that are by femxle playwrights and composers featuring femxle characters with arc and agency, and continue to create opportunity for femxle actors, especially across the diverse LGBTQIA+ spectrum and within our BIPOC community.
