Calle 24 Latino Cultural District was created because of gentrification and displacement of near 14 thousand Latinx residents in the Mission District of San Francisco. Our work is to protect and enhance our cultural assets:

Core Programs/Committees include:
Landuse Committees- Advocating for affordable housing
Quality of Life Committee- Working to maintaining a healthy street environment
Economic Vitality- Making sure the cultural district is sustainable economically
Arts and Culture Committee- Creating space for arts organizations and artist to collaborate and build support

Includes:
Business Liaison- Provides technical assistants to small mom and pop immigrant businesses in a culturally competent manner. It also includes immigrant street vendors.
Marketing Liaison- Promotes our events and small businesses to make sure they have visibility and are economically sustainable long term. Providing marketing assistance.
Events- Producers of Fiesta De Las Americas- A cultural event that recognizes and celebrates all Latin American countries. Creating jobs for artist, vendors and revenue for small businesses.
