Scholarship Awards Program: Our Scholarship Awards program identifies talented young dancers and awards them full or partial scholarships to attend Summer Intensive and/or Short-Stay programs at some of the Nation’s most respectable Dance Institutions, such as San Francisco Ballet School, City Ballet San Francisco, and LINES Ballet, just to name a few. Dance Arts Foundation’s positive reputation has allowed us to form partnerships with these esteemed Dance Institutions, as they trust our high standard of excellence will bring impressive talent to their respective programs. In turn, these partnerships enable us to provide crucial financial support to the local young artists we serve, allowing them to acquire invaluable experience and exposure they may not otherwise be able to access.

Dance Education Grant Program: Dance Arts Foundation offers vital monetary assistance to highly committed young dancers, helping to relieve the financial strain associated with pursuing a career in dance. This support is versatile, allowing recipients to use the awarded funds in any capacity to further their training, such as for tuition payments at their local studios, private lessons, summer programs, and even dance wear, ensuring young artists have access to the resources they need to excel in their craft.

Festival: In both 2018 and 2023 (with the generous support of the CAC in 2023), Dance Arts Foundation proudly produced a weekend-long Classical Ballet & Contemporary Dance Festival, furthering our dedication to dance education and fostering unity within the dance community. Each Festival weekend brought together over 130 dancers from various local dance studios, offering Master Classes in varying dance styles taught by world-renowned Master Teachers, collaborative performance opportunities in a proper theater, and the opportunity to share the stage with truly inspiring professional Guest Artists. The Final Performances were open to the public, bringing high-level arts and culture to the people of California.
