Responsibilities

This unpaid internship provides excellent exposure to many operational aspects of a fine

arts gallery. Responsibilities may include assisting in the following areas:

• assist in design of social and marketing media (in print advertisements & online email

marketing)

• answer and direct incoming telephone calls

• help prepare and install exhibitions

• pack and ship catalogs and artwork

• catalog inventory

• maintain artist archive

• clerical tasks such as filing, data entry

• assist & attend exhibition openings and other gallery related events

Requirements

The position requires a minimum commitment of 9 hours per week (2 days minimum).

Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm, and Saturday from 10 am

to 5 pm. Internship hours are flexible and will be determined on an individual basis.

Note: College Credit Available.

Skills

Required – Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft , Social Media experience

Preferred – Graphic arts design and social media experience
