CALL FOR ART: Mural Marathon in Yuba City 2024

The Yuba-Sutter Rotary Night Club is seeking artists to create murals in Yuba City, California as part of a Mural Marathon, Art, and Health Festival. The location is on the south-facing wall of the historic Sutter Theater Center for the Arts, 754 Plumas Street, Yuba City. The project is being done in collaboration with the Upstate California Creative Corps, the Blue Zones Project, the Partnership for Health, Equity and Inclusion, and Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture.

PROJECT BACKGROUND

With support from the Upstate California Creative Corps, the Yuba-Sutter Rotary Night Club in collaboration with its partner organizations will conduct a 48-hour Mural Marathon, Art, and Health Festival to bring awareness to all four California Creative Corps (CCC) program goals. The event’s location is in one of the lowest-scoring regions on the Healthy Places Index in the state.
